Deakin University has achieved top ranking performance in international league tables for 2016-2017:
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU):
Deakin University has jumped into the top 220 in the 2016 ARWU rankings. The University has rocketed up two tiers and almost 200 places since it first made the ARWU top 500 rankings in 2014. It has moved into 214th place, a major step up from 398 in 2015, and 412 in 2014. It is now placed at 11th in Australia.
QS World University Rankings:
Deakin is ranked 355th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2016/2017. In addition, Deakin's online MBA has been ranked No. 1 in Australia and 16th internationally by prestigious university rankings organisation QS (2016).
Times Higher Education:
Deakin is currently ranked 50th in the Times HE 2016 global ranking of the top 100 universities under 50 years old.
